100 Year Flood
The incredible amount of snow this year caused the upper lake at Fusine to flood to twice its normal size once the snow started to melt. I hiked out to the lake from the north side (via the lower lake) by headlamp to shoot the sunrise and nearly walked right into the water--I did not expect the shoreline to be so far from where it is normally. The island that you see here is usually far inland (and not an island). It was quite interesting to see the lake in this condition!
