It's hip to be square by Andy Aungthwin

It's hip to be square

I find the square format to be perhaps the most difficult, but on a digital it can be fairly easy. Technical details: 4 frames in portrait position rotated leveled to the horizon. (Ignore people who insist that it needs to be rotated through the nodal point. It's only needed if the foreground is really close - like less than one meter) Each frame adjusted to taste in ACR but the color temperatures are all the same. Photomerged in CS4 and then stretched with the Warp function to counter the Auto feature of Photomerge. Layers flattened and cropped square.
