I ain't no square

Before digital I used to dream about shooting a 6x17 Linhof. But a setup cost of more than $10,000 meant that it was just a dream. Today, its' easy. Even with a lens that has high barrel distortion, you can create shots like this with little effort. Just put it on a tripod with all 3 axis leveled and shoot 3 or 4 frames (even hand-held will be OK). Put it through a panoramic software - some are free - and that's it.
